SPRING into some Stuart Theatre with these events:
Main stage production of ‘HOLES’ by Louis Sachar
March 30, 31 @ 7:00 PM, April 1 @ 2:00* and 7:00 PM
*We will host a talk back with the cast and the opportunity for photos in our stage holes after the matinee performance on April 1.
Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a youth detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the kids ‘build character’ by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. But there are an awful lot of holes.
The play, like the award winning youth novel, expertly weaves past and present plot lines, offering an important message about the power we all have to drive our own lives.
Highly recommended for grades 4 and up.
